    Hey everyone,

    I was trying to bench mark my laptop and its keep giving me an error IDirect3DDevice9 present failed device lost D3DERR_DEVICELOST

    I am running the 197.72 hybrid driver from dell website and oc'd my graphics card using EVGA Precision. I am trying to run it at 580/890/1392

    Does anyone know why i am getting this error?

    Your Memory clock is a bit drastic to start off at. Lots of people when they get close to 900 will fail.

    Start off in smaller increases. start at 525 on the clock at 850 on the memory

    And move up slowly from there

    over at the bench mark thread so i thought i can run at same clock speed. how come he can run at that speed but i cant?

    every GPU is an individual. Some can handle more extreem clocking while other can not. Depends upon the lots of factors... Quality of that batch of silicon... etc..
