ive got a new alienware m11xr3 from a dealer yesterday , it worked 100% ok till today .
when i was trying to copy some games from my external hard to my alienware , i got a blue death screen and a reset, like an hour after that same thing happened when i connected a flash memory to laptop

but that time i got a 3 beep error (chipset failture) , which went away after 5 mins that i restarted system . i made a diagnos from bios menue to check system and i got 2000-0123 which recommended that i replace RAMs , so i removed one of the ram memories , i rebooted system and connected that flash memory which caused my system to go blue screen and everything was OK , i did a full diagnos and 100% passed no errors
now i replaced back the 2nd RAM and it is doing a new diagnos to see if i get that error once again

im alittle confused , is that Chipset error related to a faulty RAM or got anything to do with my RAM ?

if i pass this diagnose should i be worried about my system ?

Sounds like some kind of defect on your motherboard. I suggest you take it to warranty.

Having in mind that it is January 2013, and that M11X has been discontinued for a while, not too many people have a warranty still ongoing on these machines.. Thus the 'warranty' suggestion is increasingly not an option for most people and mostly 'do-it-yourself' advice is needed.

Sometimes it's because a little bump may have loosened the RAM from it's socket, or perhaps a bit of dust may have been trapped inside the socket itself preventing the RAM from making proper contact. No reason to worry if it's working fine now.
