    ALIEN RESPAWN ya feel me!

    my r2 already feels slow i've had it for little more than a month if i run alien respawn can this return my lappy back to its glory days?

    I'd recommend a fresh install of windows to avoid any errors you might get from the respawn. You can try it though, but it would slow down again after a few days. It would be better to use the restoration CD that comes with the M11x to do a fresh install.

    thanks for the advice, i've just bought an ext blu ray drive, and will try a fresh install of windows ultimate.

    have you attempted to use respawn and it gave you a headache?

    Well not respawn in particular,but system restore. I think it's the same thing. Usually any type of restore isn't that great, you're usually left witj errors and/or system slowdown occurs a few days/weeks after..since you have an external dribe anyway,it's gonna be quite easy to reinstall windows using the alienware restoration CD..i think it even comes with the drivers installed,but I think you'd have to update them.
