Sorry if duplicated - my friend has a problem with his new AW M11xR1. In earlier games / GTR2 , Jade Empire , Fifa 09 /, the nVidia graphics starting in 2d mode - no way to set it in max , and the games becomes jammed. More recent productions works without problems. I do not see PowerMizer off function in the video card driver. Is there a way to set nVidia's graphics clocks at max all the time? Thank you for your reply.

    Welcome back
Another question whether the blocking step speed in the BIOS will solve the problem of CPU throtting ?. My friend still has got the problem with performance in his M11xR1 . After 30 minutes of play the fps drop down . Games stuttering . Temps are fine - 53 max for GPU and 44 for CPU . GPU works on full clocks .

I had some trouble installing games like the older Medal of Honor series (Airborne works though) or Blazing Angels 2. It seems BA2 *only* wants XP. I heard even the Steam version doesn't like Win7. :(

Ok - I found that when I start some games it do not starts at once / Oblivion for example / . I must click another one in the ikon . The game starts but there is something in the task manager colled runndll32exe - 45% procesor use , and than stuttering is starting . Is this some kind of virus or something ?

Hm, that's new to me. I have Oblivion, Fallout 3, and New Vegas all of which work great. I downloaded a .dll patch for NV that made the frame rate stop stuttering, but I've run Oblivion just fine, with mods and without. Are you using the latest patch for the game?

This was definitely a problem run.dll proces. Btw - this is a very nice laptop with good performance and long battery life on Intel graphics chips. I like it , and who knows - maybe I will decide to purchase one :)
    Thank you and best regards
