...about not putting ANYTHING else on that stick?
I can get most of my apps from ninite.com, but I would like to put a couple of installation executables in a folder or in the root of apps that I consider essential for me on a reinstallation that are not available on the internet.
I have put extra files and folders on my Acronis True Image USB stick with no problem so I don't see why this would not be the same.
    Anybody know??
AND, are all the original drivers from the ORIGINAL state of your M11X already included in the Alien Respawn? Even so, that would mean I would need to have the updated NVidia driver, and a few others that are newer on that stick in a folder also, right?

There is a DVD option, why waste a stick?

I DID do a DVD also. I just find a USB stick handier to take with me instead of hauling a DVD player and disc....don't you?? ;) Besides I got the stick for $12 on Buy.com so, it's a win-win all around. YMMV

well how often are you goin to respawn?

I don't see a reason that you "have to haul around a DVD player and disc" if it's something that doesn't happen often at all

its not a question of "how often are you goin to respawn"... i think the purpose of this is to have an "emergency respawn stick" wherever you may be incase something goes wrong with your laptop and you have to do this. This is a good practice when you travel alot and bring your laptop with you.
