I downloaded the AlienFX Lite posted on the general Alienware Subthread and ran it. Upon loading it all my lights turned off and when I tinkered and began to get it to work the only lights that wouldnt function were Alienware Logo lights directly below the screen (the ones that spell out 'Alienware'). So upon doing this I thought it was just the application but unfortunately it remains off even when I use the Command Center Application.

Anyone have any ideas? Like I said all the lights EXCEPT the Alienware light works.

    Thanks
    DeeVu

I did. No one checks there.

Edit: And when they do they have no idea what to do.

AlienFX definitely works because I'm using it right now. The program is a bit buggy though so my only suggestion is to keep playing with it. Took me a while to get everything working correctly. However, I do have Command Center uninstalled.

Well no matter what I do it doesn't respond with those lights. Mmmm. Ill keep tinkering and if worse comes to worse Ill call in the good old warranty.

Edit: Im using the latest version of FX lite and command center and neither have the logo turn on. It can't be a coincidence that as soon as I run FX lite that is malfunctions. I used both programs for little over a year on my R1 with no problem.
