Anyone has info on when they will do a refresh of the Alienware 13? I understand it just came out, and already people are mentioning new CPU and video card alternatives compare to the current available options. Are those just rumors or Dell / Alienware will offer more options in the next few months?

It depends on the release schedule of intel really.

I would call the new GPU a refresh since Alienware planned for the 13 to support Broadwell (if you see in my sig, I will be getting a Broadwell 13), but meh. It could bbe the R2 by the time Broadwell releases.
    CPU refresh -- Next Month.
GPU refresh -- who knows. February or March are my guesses.

    hi all,

I just saw the new Alienware laptops on Dell's website, are these the final specs for rest of 2015, or do they change from time to time? I have only owned one Alienware system before, so I am not familiar with how often they add new options to their products. I was hoping to see better GPU than 860M in the 2015 refresh...

The most likely GPU refresh would be the GTX 960m, which is a rebrand of the GTX 960m. It's not going to be much better than it is currently.
When? I don't know, maybe spring or summer?
