Looks nice, but wouldn't the CPU on the AW 13 bottleneck a high end card like the GTX 980?

More than likely, but it will still get insane performance if the game isn't CPU bound.

They will probably add the I/O port to the AW 17 and AW 18 for Amplifier compatibility in the R2's as well.

It will definitely help but won't be utilized fully by the AW 13. But if you're happy with that, so be it. Thanks for sharing.

Unless I am mistaken they have indicated that the G/A will be this in several statements right? I cannot imagine if they have fiddled with getting the G/A working for several years that there would be no plan to introduce this to the rest of the lineup whatever that may be.

The GA is a really big fuc*ing dissapointment, me and many others are having problem with it. The AW13 is great, though. But I was ready for some hardcore, beastly graphics, but NO.
And as many AW costumers know, AW support is ********. They don't do ****.
So me and many others have to wait to nVidia or Alienware release an update to the AGA, which will probably never come.
