Hi, i want to ask if it's normal for a very little gap to appear between the base cover and front grille, especially at the left side.

Refering to the attached picture, when i press on the red circle area and release my finger, i could hear a click sound.

Thanks for the reply. I would very much appreciate for other members to reply to confirm it's normality.

Are you saying that the left isn't sitting flush and the right does? If so, that's not normal. Both sides should be flush.

    gap.jpg

The red line indicates the gap i'm mentioning between the base cover and palm rest at the left grille area.

Refering to my first post of this thread: when i press on the red circle area and release my finger, i could hear a click sound.

When compare with both the grille lights on, the left one seems to seep out more light from the gap than the right grille.

The onsite technician suggested for me to replace the base next time, since it is the most likely culprit. He commented that it is not flushed and it should be.
