My battery died and am out of warranty. I am having a difficult time finding the proper battery in the United States. My battery actually has a label that says 08P6X6, I have noticed many websites are also selling the PT6V8 and 8P6X6 models for the M11x. Does anyone know the difference between them and if I would be find to get a different model than the one I have? Thanks!

Actually, the battery warranty only lasts the first year. Don't let them trick you into buying an upgraded warranty.... it doesn't cover batteries. Just wanted you to know and future buyers to know.

Both are the same, the only difference is the brand, both are 8Cells batteries, if you need pricing information from DELL you can send us an e-mail to [email protected] with your service tag and phone number, mention my name on the subject field and I'll personally help you with it.
