    Hi all,

The moment I try to game on battery power with this R3, framerates drop through the floor. I've tried setting High-performance Nvidia processor to being the preferred processor, prefer Max Performance in Power settings etc but nothing seems to force the Nvidia GT 540M to stay at maximum clocks.

Is this normal behaviour? I seem to remember the R2 maintained its performance on and off battery power.

Yes mine too, you have to change the settings in AlienFusion. Set battery to high performance under the graphics settings.

I would suggest not using AlienFusion unless they fixed the bugs with it on the R3s... but on my R2 AlienFusion was eating up at least 20% of my usage. Just click the battery and click the high-performance bubble.
