I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I'm becoming increasingly annoyed with my M11x.
The system would either freeze, requiring me to hard reset it or runs very slow, to the point where I have to wait 3-10 seconds to move the mouse, open Start menu, or even highlight stuff, this happened 4-5 times in the 2 months I've owned this laptop, and to rule out specific drives issue, it happened on my 60GB OCZ Vertex 2 SSD, 128GB Crucial M4 and the stock 750GB hard drive it came with (the Windows installation was fresh on all these drives, just in case) oh and every time it happened, the system isn't doing anything, just sitting there, idling.
I can't seem to figure out what's causing it.
Has this happened to anyone before?
I've tried flashing the BIOS but that changed nothing.

Freezing is usually either HDD or OS or RAM related. Since you've ruled out the first 2 have you tried the RAM? Take out 1 stick & try with just the other. If it doesn't help, try it with just the other stick.

I forgot to mention that, I ran with 8GB RAM for a while (2x4GB) and it happened twice. Now I'm running 6GB (2GB and 4GB sticks) and it happened couple of times, so I'm not sure if it's RAM related.
Looking through the event logs tells me nothing.
I'm lost here. -
Is that 4GB stick from the 8GB pair? If so it seems to be the common element. Tried swapping it with the other stick/s if you still have it/them?

The 6GB RAM set? No, they're separate, they're in their own set. 6GB set is the one that came with my M11x, 8GB set I bought awhile ago and is currently in my another laptop (which has no issues at all, so I think that rules out RAM related issues)
Another thing I remembered, all these times it freezes/lags, M11x was plugged in, AC adapter related issue? I don't know, it never happens when I'm gaming, it's always plugged in when I'm gaming.
