Please help me! My m11x r1 just randomly crashes when I go to stand up or pick it up. Sometimes it will crash, other times it won't. I read something about faulty ac adapters or something on the r1. Its way out of warranty and so I cant send it away to be fixed without it costing heaps especially as I live in NZ. Any ideas anyone ?

Is this with it plugged in or on battery? If battery try accelerometer (if there is on? Don't remember one on my R3), if AC powered make sure the cable isn't being plled on anything it may be moving some dodgy internal connections.

Does anything appear in event log?

If I uninstall the accelerometer how can I reinstall it?

It only happens when running off the battery. Can't see anything in the event log.

Spent 45 minutes on the phone with dell yesterday and they said it could be a battery but since it's out of warranty it will cost 200nzd for a battery and that might not fix the problem so then I'd have to buy a one year extended warranty for 500nzd so all up 700nzd which is what I paid for the laptop a week ago!
