I've had my m11x for just under a year now, and it's performed flawlessly for me so far (no hinge issue or any other problems... Guess I'm just lucky), but about a week or so ago, the battery decided to stop holding a charge. One minute it'd be at 95% and the next it would be going into suspend mode on its own. Long story short, I called up Alienware tech support and they sent me out a new one free of charge (haha) in 3 days. Just figured I'd post something positive to try and partially offset all the problems that get mentioned. That is all. :)

Good. Maybe they'll replace the one in my refurb right away if it's well worn. Which reminds me, how have the batteries lasted in these so far?

mine's been working like a champ. Though I usually have my system plugged in 24/7, I have had a few instances of taking it on long trips. I usually try to drain my battery then and then recharge. I get about 2.5hrs on gaming/High performance graphics mode and about 5+ hours on the normal graphics mode, with screen turned up and chip OC'd.

    I have a R1.
