You just have to delete the colon at the end of the link. But yeah, I agree it should be fixed.

We have received a lot of feedback from you guys, probably that's why they may do that. We have no info on any of this happening or not though.

I actually voted for that idea, IK that many m11x users would be pleased with that.

owned mine since release of the R3, would love an upgrade, especially graphics wise... a larger heat sink would be cool tho, with a better GPU... most importantly though... ditch the crappy LCD panel that comes in them until now... will be the best lappy in the world :)

11' is too small, 14'' is too big, 12' or 13' would be just right for on-the-go Video & Audio production. Don't care about the weight/thickness, just make it as powerful as possible (NO OPTICAL DRIVE PLEASE, waste of space) and make it 12-13''

I would be perfectly happy with another 11" laptop, but I think 12" would be the ideal size.

I've still got my original M11xR1 SU7300 and use it daily.

I have a rule that I'll never buy a notebook with a physical width over 12".
I already have a desktop PC and don't need two boat anchors.

So currently I can NOT buy an Alienware notebook due to their current line-up.

Screen size is not an issue when one's daily is a 24" IPS monitor(s) via VGA (Nvidia GPU used if required)

So anything between 11" and whatever you can get into a monitor.less than 12" wide horizontally is fine.
Less bezel more screen I say.

I just thought I'd have to ditch the uber cool high performance GPU for a win8 hybrid/tablet like a Toshiba Portégé Z10t-A (haswell processor pending) or something.

But now.. is Alienware saying they miss me and want me back...??? :D

My old R1 remains in pristine condition, no wear or scratches etc, and I'd like to keep it that way. I say: bring on the Alienware 11 :D.

I've had some problems with my m11x r2
(New motherboard, new hinges, new av adapter and new daugtherboards)
But despite that and the fact that it gets really hot during load i love it.. An new version with new design Would be cool but Best of all.. We could Maybe get a gfx that is up2date... 335m is rubbish (no dx11.. Are you kidding me!?)
Haswell and 700 Series gfx Would be so n awesome.
M11x yet haven't Gotten any quad core processors but competitors have so it really should come now with haswell and it Would be the bestbuy!!
I really love the sheer power and portability of those 11 inch powerhouses so plz alienware.. I beg you!

So i was Right :) good to know but that really shows alienware must hit back..
An 13 inch Would also be cool but still.. 11 is the only true mega portable gaming laptop size

I agree with you completely. Now I'm not too keen on the new Alienware design but if they did release an 11" version I'd definitely buy one. Imagine the sort of horse power they'd be able to cram into one of these things - I'm thinking of a nice quad core i7 paired with a GT 750M and a lightning quick 256GB SSD to go with it! So Alienware: tread lightly, for you tread on my dreams. :D

I agree with everything man :) the new design is cool but i Would much rather have the old one.
And yeah the 750m Would be the perfect balance between power and batteri life. Maybe a 760m option? And the quad core haswell Would make it perfect and very future safe! An on the go gaming computer ! Or an fancy looking work computer for Photoshop etc. :)

I Would buy it despite the design! The 11 inch gaming laptop era alienware started was genius and they Master it.. It sold so Well i have no idea why they discontinued it !?

One thing tho.. More focus on airflow and better cooling

I would really want a 13 or 12 inch laptop to replace my m11x r1. The 14 inch is just too fat for me. I don't need an optical drive. The clevo w230st is similar in thickness to the m11x but I heard that it throttles and it just looks really ugly. Praying for alienware.
