    Another problem, Keyboard doesn't light!

    Just bought a reconditioned m11x r1. Everything seems fine except that the keyboard doesn't light up. Tried reinstalling command centre and all that. Any other ideas?

    It's pretty easy to take the keyboard off. I'd check to see if the cable came loose. There's one for keyboard input and another for the lights.

    Is this from Dell's Outlet? If so, contact support. If its from a third party and there is no warranty coverage, then you might want to crack it open as suggested. See this direct link for keyboard removal steps -
