    I guess I didn't clean the screen after putting it on whoops or my camera phone is a POS

    kinda dark to take the picture now but it should be a decent before/after for glare

    I bought a green onion glossy screen protector for a 22" screen and cut it into the shape of the M11x. Unfortunately I messed up when installing it and edge has a bit of peeling. I'll make another and fix it when I'm bored. I still have the other half of the 22" screen protector left.;

    I installed an antiglare film on my M11x and here are my thoughts.
    First: I did the whole installation in the bathroom after running the shower and letting the steam subside.
    I started by cleaning the screen with the supplied cloth until I did not see anymore specs of dust on the screen.
    I then applied the film, removed it and reapplied it when I saw it was not well aligned.
    After the installation I had about 20 to 30 air bubbles. Some were as big as a quarter coin.
    What did I do? Nothing I waited. Over the space of a few weeks the bubbles all disappeared.
    There is no dust under the film and no bubbles either. The fit is perfect. You just have to be patient and trust that the bubbles will eventually fade away.

    My thoughts on the film are that it works well but be advised that it adds some grain to the screen. This grain is less visible when the screen is up to full brightness. On the lower brightness settings, some people will not like it at all.

    While I did not notice an improvement in contrast or color, I don't struggle with glare anymore and can use the laptop for longer periods without getting eye strain. Another advantage is that I no longer see my ugly mug staring back at me when I look at the screen.

    Conclusion: This film was a good buy for me but the slight loss of brightness and the added grain may not sit well with some. My advice is to get it only if the glare is a major issue for you. If it's something you can live with, this film may not be worth it for you.
    Hope this info is helpful.
    Cheers
