I was thinking more along the lines of a thread showing framerate averages and settings for certain games

Looking at the minimum requirements and comparing them to your specs while applying common sense should see you through.

A few of those games on your list run like garbage on my r1 :( Spec Ops isn't playable on the lowest settings at native resolution for me. I score around 6700 in 3DMark 06.

That's a strange one. It works perfectly on mine on mid-high, if I recall correctly. It could be a driver issue.

Could be, I'll try it again and see if it's still doesn't work well. Which driver are you using btw?

There are several offical DELL hybrid drivers, the R1 doesn't utilise optimus. I can't quite remember the name of the driver but it's the one that came installed on my system back in March 2010.

    I have a m11x r1 and I'm getting about 18 - 23 fps in far cry 3. Is this normal?

Edit: Just tried the arma 3 alpha, got 15- 20 fps on 720p and 65% rendering. Unplayable. Multiplayer is laggier. Lowering the settings in multiplayer doesn't do anything for me.

I have an M11x R1 and am playing L4D, L4D2, Star Trek Online, and Diablo 3 on a regular basis! This little machine is still a beast and very fast :)

Yeah, it'll still handle the less demanding games out there. Wouldn't call it fast though :p Most new AAA games won't run at native res and the lowest settings.

Thx for list. Helps me with my steams summer sale purchases:thumbsup:
Here's a few more that have worked on my m11x r1:
    Alan Wake + American Nightmare
    Alpha Protocol
    Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
    Assassin's Creed II
    Assassin's Creed: Revelations
    Borderlands
    Borderlands 2
    Dungeon Siege 3
    Fable 3
    The Elder Scrolls: SKYRIM
    Fallout 3
    Fallout: New Vegas
    Tomb Raider 2013
    Rage
    Sleeping Dogs
    The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

Really surprised to see Dishonored on there as a game that runs well. :wideeyed:

Dishonoured and its expansion pack run delightfully well on the r1. Thinks for the list, I'm quite surprised to see The Witcher 2 on it... I hear even the r3 struggles to run it on native/low.

I have a bespoke 260.63 hydrid Nvidia/Intel sourced driver from Nautis and get the following:

    30248 - 3DMark Ice Storm [Graphics: 55893, Physics:11608]
    2668 - 3DMark Cloud Gate [Graphics: 5645, Physics:938]
    6989 - 3Dmark06.
    2101 - GeekBench 2

Moderate overclock and you can play Crysis1.0 on medium setting and have a very smooth game.
Hard Reset (Demo) played fine too.

Yes I sort of gathered that :). I did, however, give Tomb Raider a play through and I must admit it ran quite magnificently on this little machine.
