I just downloaded the MIS Afterburner and Kombuster but I'm not really sure how far I should go with OC'ing. I plan on slowly OC'ing my GPU and I was wondering, how do I test stability and how much should I increase the GPU OC each time?

EDIT: I have an m11x r1 if that helps with an answer.

before there was a feature in nvidia panel that would test if it was running stable after changing the clock speeds, though now when i got it off nvidia website for my M11X it doesn't do that anymore... But i am sure you can dig up some software to test the stability...

MSI Afterburner is probably the way to go, it comes with a program called Kombustor that lets you test your stability, use the GPU burn in feature, OC your system and if it downclocks to 405/810/300 as you can see on the right you went took far and need to reboot your laptop. second, most people have sucess with the overclock 550/1350/875. Hope i helped

Holy crap, the fan goes up to full blast at the OC you mentioned  !

Edit: Temperature jumped up to 62C, what are the average temps that OC'ers get?
