So I noticed that a new driver was released today, anyone notice a performance increase with it? I just updated my driver yesterday, and went through the whole process of removing all previous drivers through safe mode and such, and would rather not go through all of that again if there's no big improvements. It isn't listed as a change for the changelog on the drivers page, but just wanted to confirm.

Doesn't seem to change anything for the 335m or 540m (no changes to the 300m or 500m series).
-
Ok, thanks. Not gonna install it then xD
-
yeah, I feel that the last driver that will impacted the 335m was the 275.33 driver.
-
Tried it, nothing different so far. I REALLY hope thats not true DeeVu, I'm having a lot of problems with HoN and LoL. Seems to be optimus related. That or something with flash >.>
-
Me either. Just looking At it from a point where the 335m is not as new as it used to be. We will see. I play LoL too so for everyones sake we can hope that if it's not driver related then it's patchable.

When I click the search for updates in the Nvidia control panel it shows no updates, only a beta update...
-
You have to go online to get it.

I can confirm that these drivers work well on my 17x 460m, but I can't say if they would be beneficial to you guys. Most all of my problems were Optimus related but I got a hold of modded BIOS to fix that. Maybe you guys here in the 11x forums have access to something like that?
-
There isnt. The only modded BIOS we have is one that increase GPU voltage.
The 280 drivers so far don't impact our GPUs at all (at least by reading the notes) -
No fix for the 3D Max viewport rotation bug.

Installed the driver on my M11x r1 and I cant seem to turn on my 335m Halp!

Only the drivers released directly from Dell/Alienware for the R1 are switchable..if you want to use other drivers you need to switch from switchable to discrete mode in your BIOS.
Anyone Tested New Verde 280.26 Driver?
