I know that they recently released a 64bit version for windows 7 (which aides us m11x users that dont want to install XP 32bit), and I know you have to boot without driver verification in order to change the timings (F8 at boot) but once I get to the program there is no longer the "Automatic Settings" feature like I've seen in previous guides. Would anyone who has more experience with this software mind giving me a quick/or long walkthrough of how to improve my RAM timings to push my OC to its limits and maybe help my video/music editing renderings?
Thanks in advance and I've done my best to search for this answer but I have had no luck over a week of searching.

Pretty sure there isn't a way with out a 32bit os, The program loads on 64bit but it wont flash. And i think you need 6.2 or 6.3 thaiburner too flash anyways the new version doesn't flash. and the old version 6.2 6.3 doesn't even load on 64bit .
I had too install windows 7 32bit on my hdd i had laying around and installed the hdd into the m11x sense i didint want too mess up the recovery partition and flash my ram that way. At first i thought it would ony work on 32bit xp but it works on win 7 32bit too.
I wish it worked on 64bit would save so much time -
There is brand new 100% 64Bit compatible software version 7.X
Thaiphoon Burner - Official Support Website
I need help with this also! -
Pass the SPD file here and I'll have a go at higher latencies. I don't understand how to mod the SPD enough to write a guide though. -
Thats what I was thinking if a few people chipped in for a licence i'm sure it'll work on a couple of PC's. Its only being used once/ twice max per person.
If you get the trial and do the F8 at load up (Run Un-signed Certs) I was able to use the program but had no clue what I was doing so didn't flash. -
Hi guys....
is that curious, that some people buy a full version of a program when it's that good?!
So please don't write: it will not work.....
It works fine with 7.x (and it's not "brand new"...... version 7.1.X is that)...
I get it work to change the timings.... (7-7-7-20 or 8-8-8-24).
Well... i made some mistakes and my ram crashed ;-(
now i'm waiting for my new ram and will make a little guide as far as I can make some screenshots!

I have no problem paying for anything if I see it as good value. £15 for something I will use once max twice is not good value in my mind.
If Throttlestop or SetPLL was that price I would no issue paying that price for it as I use it everyday. Do you see my point?
Megamilchmann, I look forward to your guide.
Did you crash your RAM by going above CAS 9? -
Megamilchmann Did you flash both of your rams at the same time or just one stick? Because you can hot swap the ram and reflash the bad stick.
I bricked my ram which lucky i didn't flash both sticks and all i did was boot up the system with the good working ram stick and when in windows i pop in the bad stick and reflash it and it was good again
Also when re flashing make sure you do the right ram stick.
But ya if you flash both rams which is a bad idea than ya you have too get new ram..
Ya i wouldn't pay no money for this software sense you mostly ony do it one or 2 times, For that much money they charging you can buy a cheap hdd for 20$ or so install 32bit xp or 7 and flash it. Which what i did.
It would be better if i can flash anytime i want with 64bit but not going too pay money for something that ony going too get used couple times, Maybe if it was like 1$ or 5$ max i might go for it. But not for over 10$.. -
Gordesky1 how did you get on with your OC after playing with your timings?
-
Pretty much no were... No matter what i cant get pass 166 or stable even at 166fsb, Could be my cpu hit the wall even tho sometimes it will be stable at 166 and sometimes it wont, So maybe my ram is the weak link and cant even handle a small overclock. Going too have too run memtest over the weekend too see if i get any errors maybe i have some bad ram. But ya i put it back too stock timings for now, going too try it again over the weekend.
As of right now i have my fsb ony at 156fsb sense it gets unstable over time anything higher than that. But my cpu does run hot so that could be the cause. But sense i can change my fan rpms on max maybe it would be stable now.
But don't let that crush your hopes because changing the timings help alot of people too get a higher overclock. -
Here we have a little guide:
