So I got my m11xr2 today. I know that most people get DJ controllers with a mac but I decided with alienware because I like video games and windows, and despise a lot of what mac represents. So I installed the NS7 windows 7 64 bit drivers and then installed serato itch using a compatible windows xp sp2 mode and it ran and recognized the software... however here is where the problem lies. It barely runs I get a lot of clicks and clacks and noise. When i run DPC latency checker it's nearly always in red.

So Is there anyone out there who has run it successfully? How? Thanks in advance for the help!

There are at least two people here using the M11x for DJing. I know one of them spoke about Itch. Try searching.

    Dude.

Search this forum for serato and have results return posts rather than threads. You'll find 3 people here talking about it.

Which display driver are you running? If you run DPC Latency Checker without the app running, do you still see red spikes? I'm betting its the application... You can also run a trace and determine where the offending component is - see:

Yeah, I got it to run and not have lag or anything and not have too much spikes and what not.. However, now my computer just straight up freezes while im running it. I have to for shutdown on the computer. So now its like a whole new issue. In general Serato works best with mac tho they like to say it works everything =/.

Yep - then it sounds like the app is just having issues... contact the apps support department and see about updates.

I have an NS7 with Itch. Truth be told, I haven't installed Itch on my M11x R1. I run it with my Macbook Pro. I have heard Itch is more stable with OSX. If you don't find someone who has tried it out, let me know. I can try it out and let you know how it performs.

I run serato on my r2 just fine. No problems except for occasional dropouts, but thats my fault since i plug in an rca to another rca that connects to both lines and has an out. When I Dj with a normal mixer I havn't ever had problems.

I don't know if itch is coded differently, although it shouldn't be, but it seems to work fine.
