So, i just want to compare r1 with r2/r3. Could you place camera in front of your laptop and record gameplay from the beginning (few mins on car) on the same settings as i have.

I can't even play the game anymore. I get stuck at infinite loading screens. It also can't detect my nvidia GPU so I have to use command line mod to be able to change settings.

I play it on similar settings but I'm getting fully fluid motion. I would wager a guess of 30-40 FPS. Though I turned AA down to 2 and raised view distance a bit.

Not able to record a video but I would make sure that your anti-virus is not running when you are playing and optimize your system a bit. My system specs are in my sig.

Is this game playable on an R1? When I go into graphics options I only have 2 choices to mess around with and lower as opposed to your large normal list. Even when putting those 2 options as low as they could go, I was only able to get 15-20 fps dropping down to 10 at some points/

the game is cpu intensive i was geting 14-20fps until I overclocked to 172 via setpll after that I was getting 23-27fps I installed the 275.27 beta drivers from nvidia and now i get 30-35. I lowered a few settings to medium I can check them later if you want but I just lowered things that I couldn't visibly notice after changing them individually and playing again.

Hm, I wanted to keep the official drivers so I could use the integrated card but it seems like I'm going to have to thing about using the other drivers and only the discrete card, and OC it too :(.

The more recent patches give you more graphical setting options. I recommend you patch to 1.0.04 (not 1.040), and not the latest 1.070 because performance will be a lot lower.

Just put the shadows off, and you are gonna get almost twice the FPS in that game....

All high setting for GTAIV is a hard task even for more powerful systems, the m11x is great, but your settings are to much for it....

Play with the settings, I´m getting 30-50FPS in that game, but took me like 1 hour of changing setting by setting to get a great visual, and performance...

I would put you my settings, but I´m at work right now....
