I grabbed it on Steam yesterday as apart of Assassin's Creed day in Ubisoft week and thought I would give a performance heads up.

    Settings:
    1366x768
    Multisampling off
    Everything else maxed.

    Cutscenes vary from 40-60fps
    Gameplay varies from 30-40fps.

The numbers above were gotten from the max cpu overclock available in the bios and a gpu clock of 800/1600/1000. Haven't dipped below 30fps yet according to fraps. Draw distance in this game still amazes me. This game is compatable with a variety of controllers. It reads the xbox 360 controller straight up with no customizing unlike previous ACs. It also recognizes all logitechs but you do have to configure the controller if you are used to how the xbox played the games.

It is good. I recommend playing through all of them though as they will not make sense otherwise. They only one I would say is skippable for story purposes is the first one.

I did dip into the 20s now for fps in a battle when there were nearly 100 onscreen characters.
