From their review, it's clear they based the review more on the specs from Dell than actual testing:

...not to mention it's the shortest review ever.

And they don't even get all the specs right. For example, they claim the video card has been upgraded from the R1:

All in all, I would call the award meaningless because they don't know how an M11x actually performs.

I have my own line of laptops, one being called the SFT10 (Super Fun Time 10"). It's an Optimus-based laptop that gets 72 hours of battery life on IGP, though only 46 hours with its nVidia 460m (we aimed for at least 50 hours in development). It also comes with a 1080p 10" screen, a full Core I7 780, and 512gb SSD standard. Max temperature at the keyboard during high performance testing was 20C. Starting price is $400. I'll send the specs over to T3 and hope it wins the award next year.

Unfortunately a lot of reviews simply regurgitate the marketing slick bullet points. Optimus and its seemingly magical impact on battery life is one such example of a bad review for the R2.

Yeah. crap review. Not much more I can add. If you want real stuff, read through these forums tbh.
