This game is going to make my R3 cry...let alone my main rig w/ Xfire 6970s.
-
It ran great on my R2. Can't wait to test it maxed out on my R3.
-
hehe no bf3 for me! my r1 would xplode
-
It is actually pretty well optimized. I would be surprised if it doesnt play at low. It played well in alpha.
-
wait a minute, I would like to see if any R1 people tried this and shed some light for us r1 folk 0_0
-
wait a minute howd you play beta already? Its not out till next week o.0
-
Alpha access for those who got Moh.
-
I played alpha with my r2 and my bro played on his r1. Just wait for open beta.
-
This "ran great" on your R2? I'm curious to know your settings. I couldn't get it to stay above 30 FPS on my M11x overclocked at 166 w/ max throttlestop and gamebooster. This was at low settings on native resolution, too.
This game does not "run great" on the R2 at all.... and yes, my definition of "Great" means runs acceptably at the native resolution. -
Oh great.
My R2 is at the minimum system requirement.
I will have to wait for Modern Warfare 3 and Batman Arkham City now.
I am also curious about all the R2 players saying that Battlefield 3 Alpha runs great on their laptops.
It just doesn't seem credible regarding to the system requirements. -
So, it is very playable. Now that its probably more optimized since alpha was months ago. -
By the way, do you know what the system requirement for BF3 Alpha is?
Is it the same as the one for Beta or it was not mentioned? -
Ill try the beta!!! -
I would imagine it is more optimized.
My thinking for the R1 is if you do not use the switchable. Download the 275 or higher drivers and yo will be fine.
Alpha was pretty good. Best bet is to try BETA and decide from there. I feel like great things can come from this game. I just preordered mine with money I gained be studied by the sociology department in my school. -
The minimum spec is dual core 2.4 ghz. BFBC2 was 2.0 ghz and R1's struggle so I really can't see BF3 running well.

I really hope I am wrong! -
Deevu can you post a video of the r1 playing with the exact specs used?
-
I am currently in University and my brother is half way across the country so I cannot. Just download the open beta when it goes live next week.
