Hey, so just wondering, what is BIOS and where can I find them on my computer. I have been trying to find out if I have A04 or A03.

    Thanks

Easiest way is to press F2 (assuming it's the same for R2+R3) to enter setup straight after turning on the machine.

Should see the bios version on that first setup screen.

From within Windows, Try 'System Information'
First page 'BIOS Version/Date' should show your rev.
    on my R3, I've got : Alienware A02, 4/27/2011
so, I'm @ A02, and just checked Dell, and it's latest version.

be Careful when checking with Dell using Service Tag, when I did that it brought up the wrong Rev m11x and couldn't figure out why a BIOS A04 was erroring out... ;)
