I just started playing Lineage II and all of a sudden I started getting blue screens of death in certain places while playing the game.

I realized Lineage II is using the integrated graphics card. Tried adding it on the nvidia cpanel but the the process that runs the game is L2.bin so I can't add it on the cpanel because it only accepts .exe

Here's the error I get after recovering from the BSOD. I have the alienware m11x r2

    Thanks in advance

from what i remember i used to get them crashes on lineage 2 constantly... not sure why, was on my desktop. Now... not really interested in lineage 2, got bored in a week earlier as well...

I reckon, all you can do is update all the drivers and hope for the best with a clean install of the game. could try reinstalling all the .net frameworks etc. might help.

is there any other way to make Lineage II use the nvidia graphics card instead of the integrated one?

You can force the GPU to be on all the time through the nvidia control panel can't you ?

I did that already but still, l2.bin runs with integrated graphics card

The game is starting to become unplayable, It's kind of embarrasing for a computer like this....

Here's the details of the bsod:
    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3
    Locale ID: 2070

    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: 116
    BCP1: FFFFFA8005C90010
    BCP2: FFFFF8800FF02AE4
    BCP3: FFFFFFFFC000009A
    BCP4: 0000000000000004
    OS Version: 6_1_7601
    Service Pack: 1_0
    Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
    C:\Windows\Minidump\120911-13369-01.dmp
    C:\Users\Bruno Esteves\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-25864-0.sysdata.xml

The two files above are in the zip.

Tried to change settings in nvidea manager, with no sucess... I'm able to edit the settings by making a copy of the l2.bin and change it to l2.bin.exe. But for me it's already running with the nvidea gpu...

I am disapoint, now that the game is free to play, I can't play it because of all the bsod...

EDIT: Changing to 257.30 drivers stops the BSOD, instead, it just crashes into an unkillable process, if you try to restart or logoff, it will get stuck...
EDIT: EDIT: Downclocking seems to stop the problem, still testing but had no more crashes so far...
