    Hey guys,

Does anyone else with a M11xR2 get the BSOD when the plug in an HDMI cable?

If so, how did you solve this?

If it matters, I have the latest beta nVidea driver (does that control HDMI output?) 270.51.

    Cheers

Yes, the graphics driver does affect HDMI. Trying rolling back to a stable version.

    Cheers.

Did you do a clean install of the updated driver? If you did, and you're still having the issue, I'd rollback and wait for a more stable release.

try setting your laptop to hdmi resolution BEFORE you attach the cable to your big screen. Start with 1280/720 and see if the hdmi unit will fire up. I've had a lot of different results depending on the big screen i'm hooking too. Some will automatically fire up soon as the cable connects, others are a lot more finicky and require a preset res. I had one that gave me fits on all my hdmi equipped laptops. Eventually I found that once connected, if I turned the tv off then turned it back on, it would find the signal and reach the appropriate res.

I have R2 and those drivers as well, plug into hdmi every night when I get home. No issues. Try roll back.
