Can anyone else tell me if there m11x does this, its kinda doing the opposite that it should be doing:

uses idle (135/135) nvidia settings when it should be using normal settings (450/750) or the half way one which is 300/700 ish

and when the optimus "Kicks in" so nothing is open it puts the card onto max settings (450/750) but says the card is off when it should switch it to idle settings (135/135) :S

this means when im not doing anything its still the same temperature and battery life as if i was doing something :/

I certainly haven't heard of anything like this happening before.

What driver version are you using?

That is odd. Does GPU-Z or other tools like Afterburner agree with CPU-Z?

My 335 seems to get throttled to 135 MHz when not in use as shown by MSI Afterburner. If I can get a screenshot I will.

i'l try those other progs when i get back home, but yeh.

if it also helps someone mentioned in another thread that the nvidia tools flashes between off and idle, someone said that wasnt normal but soon after that post they said it fixed itself. mines been like this for a few months.

driver version: that custom 266.44 one with intels and dells latest of everything.

it isnt the driverr tho, i install the old 189 and 192, 275.30 (and many others) but its still the same, the card never seems to turn off and when it says it is off/idle its running on full poweh, constant high temperature, and low battery life is a result of this :/

will post more screenies soon. tempting to wipe off everything and start a-new, see if that helps, want that to be a last option tho.
