I just got my R1 refurb and put Batman AA on it. I get 10 FPS with all settings maxed measured with fraps, no OC, switched to nvidia. I chucked the drive, installed a SSD, and a fresh Win7, latest drivers, still same frame rate.

I like the physx features - fog, cloths, etc. as those are not on the PS3 so I'll have to drop some other settings. For those of you that play it, what settings do you use?

I read the R2 didn't play it much better. Will I need to wait for the R4 next year(?) to play Batman maxed and get 30-60 FPS?

That's not true. I played with high settings and got around 30-60 fps with my R2. If I recall correctly, I used the 258 drivers.

You have enabled PhysX in NVIDIA control panel on the GPU?

I can play on all max with PhysX, and I take 25-35 FPS on i5/4gb RAM/ NO SSD NO OC.

My framerate seems quite smooth with everything at max excluding AA, aside from a little bit of stuttering in the larger areas later on (when the plants show up I get a little slowdown).

I've owned both an R1, and now an R2.

The R1 had a decent run with the game, and the R2 runs it flawlessly.

PhyX was a problem for me, so double check that.

I'm sure there was an issue with the game unpatched not running the physx properly. Ensure that GPU physx is checked and the game has all the latest patches?

Turn off the AA etc, if still no improvement disable physx, its only a few papers and cobwebs etc. Not worth it, the cape will still flow realistically.

The game runs perfect in the m11x, from 30 to 60 fps maxed out (without AA), you are playing it with the integrated card...
