    Hey,

Is there supposed to be an LED indicator next to the Wireless LAN logo (top left)? Also how come when I press the battery indicator on the bottom of the laptop nothing shows up? Is my battery / laptop defective?

No, there is no indicator next to the WLAN logo. Battery status is done through the alien head changing color. Not sure about the indicator on the bottom though.

I dont get it... when you go into the settings to change the colors for everything it says and shows that there is a battery indicator next to the WiFi indicator. Is this for other Alienware laptops?

The battery charge indicator on the bottom needs to be pressed like you mean it.

As cappielloa said, there is not battery charge indicator next to the wifi/caps indicators. Just the alien head button and also when you use the Fn + F2 combo. That's it.

That's actually the caps lock indicator, but I can see how it would look like a battery in Command Center.

I can't tell if you are asking a question or not.
But the true battery indicator is on the bottom of the laptop and is only white.
The Alienhead can double as a battery "indicator". It can be changed to a different color while charging, while on battery, and while low on batter.
