which driver are u using? currently i cant get any games to work at all : (

There is a dip at probably 7:57. The framerate dipped at 8. Whoa huh?

But I'm happy with the results for this is really gaming on the go.
Unplugged, No CPU or GPU overclock, no gamebooster.
All details on medium except shadows on low. 1x aa and af no vsync, no hbao.
Stock dell drivers.

I wasnt playing very good, but its playable.

Are you using Steam?

most steam games don't work yet. Except for CounterStrike Source.

I am starting to think steam hates optimus.

 

Great! most of my games are on steam! Cant you just find the relevant exe in the common folder within steam?

Mine is arriving Monday so expect some more BFBC2 benchmarks. I will put the R1 and R2 side by side with the same settings to compare

Im hoping at least the red alert 3 would work,, or dirt 1..

I heard portal worked.

@ninja - most of my games are steam to0. except for battlefield. I got a bday discount from EA for that one.

 

yeah i got my bfbc2 cheap from EA! it was half the price of steam on launch day!

I will let you know how I get on with steam on Monday when mine arrives

yeah i did thanks mate. I looked good but I couldnt judge the fps. What were you getting in firefights/explosions?

Not bad at all for performance.. no oc. no gameboost. not plugged.

be sure to update your punkbuster tho, so that it wont kick you for multiple direct 3d.

no worries, only a couple more days til mine arrives walsh western are delivering monday.
I am going to start a new thread and put the R1 and R2 side by side for benchmarks, battery and power consumption.

If anyone wants anything tested let me know and I will do my best.
Games wise I have:
BFBC2, COD4 & WOW, Empire TW, SupComm 1 & 2, Dirt 2 and TF2.

Will also being encoding some movies.

 

not really.. just wanted to see how it works on battery. lol and not overclocked. But yeah, nothing really significant about that. and yes, the m11x lasted longer than the camera battery.

 

I got dirt2! but i wont do a video because i hate losing! I dont know how to play the game yet. hahahaha. let me know how it goes. i hope that you wont get the same issues as i did.
