All,
I've been trying to find a suitable mouse to use with my m11xR2 (and also with the m15x) that I own. I used to have one of these:
Notebook Optical Mouse 3000
and found that that it was too small for my hands and it becomes a chore to use it for any longer length of time. Now, I've seen people recommend the Razer Orochi mouse but from what pictures I've seen of it, it looks to be the same size as the old Microsoft one I had.
I've currently got a Logitech G5 (Version 2...the blue one) mouse for use with my desktop but I wanted something of similar quality/performance for my notebooks.
I appreciate any replies/advice.
Thanks

There are many threads on this topic, which I'm sure other people will tell you. But the end-result of your research into these other threads will be this:
Logitech G700 is the mouse for you. Full-sized mouse with the pedigree of the Logitech MX-5 series, G5-series, and G7 as its predecessors. It is easily one of the best mice out there right now, wired or wireless. -
I've got a Logitech G5 & a Cyborg R.A.T.7 Love both mice. If you get a R.A.T. 7 it doesn't like black surfaces. It's only downfall .

Razer imperator =D, the blue matches the dark blue lights on the laptop perfectly

I like the Logitech VX Nano (not sure if it's discontinued) but it's on Amazon. I have the same mouse as you (the G5) and this mouse feels almost the same, and the USB receiver is miniscule.

razer deathadder. ftw. 3500 dpi.

I'm using the Logitech MX518.
About $40, awesome grip, easy sensitivity adjustment, and it's lasted me more than two years so far.
Remember that super high dpi is almost useless... you're probably never going to need more than 1,600dpi tops. It's really unnecessary to spend $80+ on a mouse with such high max dpi that it moves across three screen lengths after being moved just one inch on the mousepad. -

5.99 Microsoft regular A$$ Wired Optical Mouse 3000.
works fine, if you want to show off buy something more expensive, or unless your a pro gamer which in this case you wouldn't be asking us which mouse to buy. -

I love my Razer Orochi. Its got decent bluetooth for surfing, and plugs in for high detail for gaming. I like the form factor too, matches the Alienware motif perfectly.
