The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Best driver build for m11x r1 for both discreet & integrated?

    Well, I've read alot of posts and seems to be some hybrid drivers that work designed/modified from sony laptops and some people saying just use discreet 100% of time.

    What is your suggestion? Using the stock installed dell drivers right now.

    I second this question..... I have mine set to discreet all the time, but It would be nice to swap over if I'm just browsing the internet. I know that there is a ton of info on this subject in the forums, but some consolidation would be nice.

    I use integrated when I'm on battery and browsing YouTube or forum stuff. Occasionally, Firefox will have a fit and I'll have to close it on certain videos, but the integrated works pretty well. I have been keeping on increased performance for awhile now as I've been using it for gaming.

    As for drivers, I've kept the stock ones and everything seems pretty top notch.
