I have a M11x R2, with an i7, 4gig ram, 250 gig hard drive. running the latest nvidia drivers, 266.

When I start the game it says that my graphics card is imcompatable. then the game freezes. any suggestions?

even thou it may be whitelisted, what you can do to test is can to change the GPU setting between Intel and Nvidia then try launching the game to see if you get same error regardless of setting you choose.

Also you said 266 but which? There are 2 right now.

if you tried both 266 giving you same result, you may want to revert to 260.99 from Nvidia and try again. If that works then would be sad to say that Nvidia could have broke that game compatibility for Optimus when they try to fix the problem.

Eg... the 266 driver now has the old VRAM bug with GTA as far as user have reported. And that does not occur with the previous drivers. Also 265.xx release fail to launch Global Agenda, just got an exception error and the application quit. Works fine with Intel but obviously it will be unplayable. But this is fix in the 266.xx release. So there is no perfect drivers out there. You gotta try out each of them to see which suits you more base on what games are more impt to you or what you play more.

well i can only semi agree with you on that. As I have said there is no "perfect" driver out there. One tends to be better for some while not for others. This does not only apply to Nvidia and its the same for ATI. Its is a norm case.
