Has anyone been gaming with a bluetooth mouse on a M11x? I have one very odd issue and trying to figure it out. When I play games, the mouse will start lagging and then go back to normal. Its at random, and its happening in both games I have tested so far. Ne1 else experience this? I attached my razer USB mouse and everything is fine. Im open to any ideas. Im using a Dell BT mouse that was on sale, supposely its a rebranded logitech mouse. Thanks for any advice.

you shouldn't be playing in bluetooth mode, it will definately lag in games. gaming is best with wired mouse. i have orochi too but only game with the wired mode.

    Hey all,

I signed up just to add my contribution to this topic.

My (bluetooth) MS Wireless Noteboook Presenter Mouse 8000 works fine with:
My desktop (a random selection of parts); my old laptop (Samsung Q35); My girlfriends laptop (Sony Vaio CS21); my dad's laptop (Sony something or other); My mums laptop (HP something); my girlfriends mum's laptop (Dell 15" something)

So I really doubt the mouse is at fault here.

I've not found anything that makes it better or worse though.

So a few people do have the Orochi afterall. I had that all lined up to order but swapped it for the Imperator at the last second without really thinking. But luckily if I don't like it I can send it back and get the Orochi. How big is it compared to most mouses? The dimensions don't make it seem very small at alla ctually

I've got the Orochi, and play with it in bluetooth mode all the time without issues. The only annoyance is that if you don't touch or move the mouse for more than a few seconds, it goes into a power saving state and once you do move it, it stutters ever so slightly as it wakes up.

But, movement and response, etc, it works great. And the micro-sleep thing is a known issue with the Orochi, as that's how they designed it to save battery life.

So, sounds like either an issue with your mouse, or bluetooth settings issues with your laptop. Honestly, I can't even tell a difference between gaming plugged in and on bluetooth, other than it doesn't have such a crazy useless high DPI. It works that well, very happy with it.

I've purchased an Orochi and am loving it, I've used it for gaming but as suggested before would normally wire it up to play games, depends if I know if i'm going to be playing for a while or wanted a quick session without the fuss of having to dig the cord out.

I used BT for the Orochi when I first got it. I didn't get any lag or anything but I preferred to be on wire since I like the lights lol. I believe some BT mice sleep after a couple of minutes and are slow to wake.

If you go into the orochi toolkit program you can set the lights to stay on even while in bluetooth mode.... (I assume by lights you mean the scroll wheel blue glow)

Oh I didn't know that lol. I'll remember that. Still, I do prefer wired though cause of the wake thing.

I had something interesting happen tonight... I decided to take my M11x with me and leave my Microsoft 5000 bluetooth mouse at home. I shut down the computer and left. When I got where I was going I turned on the computer and my trackpad was still disabled even though there was no mouse to detect, rendering my M11x useless until I got back home! Just thought I'd save someone else the trouble I had, maybe there is a way around it?

Can't even get the Orochi to pair with the M11x. But even if I could I wouldn't use it to game in BT mode. BT brings the polling rate down to 1000 vs 4000 via USB.

try to add it to a com port, that seems to make it easier to pair.

Try Fn+F3 to disable wireless and bluetooth, should force m11x back to using the trackpad.

@MrD1sturbed - try making sure that your bluetooth is on and set the orochi into pairing mode.

This is typical of a jam wifi / bluetooth....
    Try this :

Desactivate Wifi and wifi from your router and try the mouse again.
Solution could come by isolating the sig and using wire cables.
    Hope it helps :)
