Hey guys. I just got this R3 and I am having a small problem with the FX.
Changing the lights seems buggy as sometime it works instantly and sometime it doesn't.

When it doesn't work, it will still show the notification that FX is updating but the light colors wont change. It will change after restarting though.

What do you guys suggest I do? Should I reinstall AlienFX?

Been there. This is the third time I've seen this including on my r3. You have to downgrade the command centre version. For some reason there are two versions on the dell website and the newest one is the one you'll have (and I had) which doesn't work properly. I'll point you to this thread of mine which explains all.

I read that thread. I will try later. Did you uninstall first or just overwrite the new one with old version? Thanks a lot!!!

Hi, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the command center on your computer from the dell website. Here is a link on how to correctly do the re installation.
