Hi, i recently got a new M11x r3 and have been getting an error constantly when viewing pictures with the Windows Photo Viewer.
Here's a screenshot of the error:

It appears randomly when i'm viewing photos with the Windows Photo Viewer. I press the right arrow key to go to the next photo and the error appears after viewing X number of photos.
Anyone knows what could be causing this and how to fix it? Any help would be appreciated![]()

I have the exact same problem here.
I:
- removed the LAV-Filters I had for DXVA in MPCHC
- updated the graphics drivers
- verified all other drivers & software are up to date
..... nothing has helped so far
edit: on a Vostro v131 btw, Google led me here ;-) -
Same issue with a Clevo P150HMB.
Anyone do their windows updates lately? I did mine yesterday for the first time in three months and now this has come up. -
That seems to be an issue with the newer Intel video driver. The igdum64.dll file is part of the Intel video driver. It is too bad the Windows Update pushed out a newer yet buggy driver. Below is a link to another thread on the same issue with a link to a Dell approved Intel video driver that fixes the problem for XPS owners. You may want to give that a shot. Set your Windows Updates to let you know when an update is available instead of automatically updating. Find that update and select the option to hide it so the problem does not return later.
