There are so many programs (at least with phones) that make use of accelerometers. Is there anything that we can do with our m11x one? I'm thinking racing games (the laptop is small enough to be tilting it around).

i was thinking along the lines of an alarm like the macbooks have. if someone picks it up it goes off. I havent really looked into it but if i could figure out how to call the accelerometer i could write a simple program in vb.net to emulate arrow keys or detect movement. I dont know where to look for this kinda info though.

Edit: im not sure it would work like an accelerometer in phones because its supposed to be jsut for free fall sensor.

You probably have this information already, but just in case...
    It's the StMicroelectronics De351dl sensor.
I would assume there are some white papers laying around, somewhere (although a cursory search didn't show anything).
