I have a M11xR2 i7. I been having a few freeze problems but we isolate variables and I think is the Wifi card Dell 1520. I believe is a general driver problem so I would like to know if you guys can do a test for me and post results.
The way to probe it is to do a masive transfer over Wifi, i mean -for example- an 8gb mkv or a disk image, wait and see what happen, you can of course surfing the web when testing. If the machine freeze we got it. So please post results machine, router speed, oc or not.

    Thanx in advance

When you say WiFi do you mean any wireless connection over the internet, or can it be on a local network? I don't know where I can download a file that big...

There have been a number of recent reports on exactly what you're describing. Erawneila has asked for additional info on this as well, so to some extent engineers are looking at the issue.

Nope, just copied an 18GB file from one server whilst streaming a movie from another.

Machine specs in my sig, router is a Netgear WNR 834b v2, speed was about 5MB/sec. M11x R2 not OC'd.

Yes, that was across WiFi and I had no problems, file transferred fine. Not sure what you mean by "don't" though.
