    Hey everyone,

I just got my m11x today so I am new to the whole setup. Anyways I saw that Nvidia came out with new drivers today so I thought i'd update them. I uninstalled the old one but now when I execute the Nvidia setup it states that I don't have the hardware, which I do. Now i've been doing some reading and it seems that since the desktop doesnt need the nvidia card to run it that it turns it off and switches to the intel card, am I right? Anyway how can I install these nvidia drivers?

Have you tried to install the original Nvidia drivers again provided by dell?

try installing the original drivers and then install the new ones without uninstalling the old ones.Nvidia automatically removes old drivers while updating to a new version.

If its anything like the R1 the drivers HAVE to come from Dell as the nvidia ones dont work with the graphics switching.

Not sure the need for multiple topics on the same issue. For 257.21 you can use what I posted in the previous thread.

1.) Download the Verde 257.21 drivers.
2.) Extract the drivers from the exe using something like winrar or universal extractor.
3.) Download my 257.21 INF linked above and overwrite the one in the verde 257.21 folder.
    4.) Install and enjoy.

Have you had better support with the GPU auto detecting and switching upon enter games?
