Edit: Radam posted the solution. Thanks a lot for all the replies :)

So after downloading the A04 BIOS for my M11X R2, I launch it and select continue on the first screen with information. I select the preset extraction folder by pressing OK. I let it extract / overwrite, and once it's done it says "All files were successfully unzipped." However when I continue on from there, it comes up with an error saying that 16-bit programs aren't supported.
"The program or function \??\C:\dell\drivers\R289597\M11XR2~1.EXE can't start
or run because of a compatibility issue with the 64-bit version of Windows."

I am sure that I downloaded the 64-bit version of the BIOS, as it said both on the beginning on the info screen, and on the Dell website I downloaded it from.

Any help would be very much appreciated. :)

Is it an ISO that needs to be burned to a bootable CD and run from a command prompt?

    Sorry - I don't have an R2

I remember having this problem at one time, and the solution was to go to the directory it extracted to (C:\dell\drivers\R289597\) and to run one of the other executables there, as the wrong one was being executed. I can't remember which one it was however, or if there was only one.
