This is probably unusual, but I'm hoping someone here can help. I like to dual-box (play more than one instance at the same time) World of Warcraft and I use a program called Innerspace/ISBoxer to achieve this. It launches multiple instances of WoW and allows you to log in multiple accounts.

The problem is it's not working on my MX11 RS laptop. When I launch my character set via ISBoxer the wow.exe starts and then just dies 2 seconds later, with no error message or any indication what's going on.

It's not that the laptop can't handle running multiple instances, because I can launch 4 instances manually (by launching each individually.)

I started playing RIFT and the same thing happens when trying to launch 2 instances via ISBoxer.

Talking with the developer of ISBoxer, he feels it's something running in the background, like virus protection or an Alienware service, that's preventing them from launching. I have uninstalled my virus protection, and stopped Alienware services (like FX), but nothing has helped.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!
