    Hi,

I just got my R2 the day before. It works great except that when i alt tab from the game, I can't tab back in. The screen flashes and goes back to desktop again.

Game in question is L4D2 (Steam).

    Nvidia driver 257.30

EDIT: I am gonna try with the latest driver 260.99 and update again. Does anyone know what's exactly the problem here though? Optimus? Win 7?

That's a steam bug or whatsoever afaik. Best decision is to use windowed mode, if you want to switch between windows.

UPDATE: It was working fine whatsoever after a clean install of the latest driver until I rebooted. Now it's not working again. Sigh.

There used to be no problem, until they added the sacrifice. There's loads of posts on steams forums about the alt tab problem.

I haven't checked in a while because the main fix back then was to use Windowed mode on full screen/ max resolution.

It's pretty much exactly the same as full screen, and alt tab is so much faster which I prefer.

    Probably a fluke.

If you want the official problem/reason/ if there's a fix. Type into steam the problem or google with the words "Steam" and it should link you too their forums.

However if it has been fixed, feel free to post the link here :p

Tab back in and rapidly click, it should make the game stay on instead of going back to desktop.

I had the same issue with Age of Empires III. Turns out I needed a reboot for it to get fixed. Now it plays wonderfully.
