    Hi!

Wondering if anybody's done this on M11x R3, be kinda neat to change it away from the grey alienhead (which I think is ugly). I did search, but havn't found anything but reviews :p

    awesome laptop btw!

You can change using the Insyde BIOS editor tool, EZH2O. Remember, you take a risk of bricking any time you flash a bios, more so if it's modified.

If there was no risk to this I would've made it load with an image saying (deevu's beast) :D

Awesome! EZH20 here I come! ... not much for download links on UEFI Firmware & Engineering Services Provider - Insyde Software website... found version 2.1.0.4 here: ezh20_2.1.0.4-for boot menu 0204'09-ini new.zip - File Shared from Box.net - Free Online File Storage yay!

I see the option for logo, hopfully this works! Will respond if sucessful :) or if I bricked a company Laptop :p

btw, some specs: i7-2167M 8GB DDR3 (doing lots of virtualization) Nvidia GT 540M 2GB 750GB HDD, yadda yadda... seems not much to diferentiate between R3's... ;)

Hahaha! LOL. I would also try that if I didn't have the chance of bricking.

I may try it in a week :) I'm getting a replacement from Dell. Might as well try it with my r2 before sending it!

M11x R1 or R2 may not use Insyde Firmware, could be Phoenix... I know because I tried to flash the wrong BIOS :D

Don't use your Service Tag to download from dell, use Model Selection.

Yeah its one of the reason I've hesitated. Another is because I need it for work.
