Same. Has anyone tried another web browser with full screen?
-
I just tried in IE 8 and I cannot get full screen with hardware acceleration enabled. I am having the same issue with chrome as well.

I tried Youtube on full screen and it's okay... on Firefox.
EDIT: The Nvidia GPU isn't on, if that matters. -
had the issue on firefox but disableing hardware acceleration seams to sort it
-
I had the same problem with chrome after the adobe update on Hulu IE works fine for me however.
-
Thanks. I was having this problem with all of my browsers (Firefox, Chrome, IE). Likewise, disabling HW acceleration seems to fix it. I wonder why...
-
How do you disable hardware acceleration on the m11x?
-
go to youtube, open a video, right click, properties, go to the section all the way on the left
-
Thanks! Works now.

Hello,
I had the same problem. I set chrome to use the intel graphics card from the nvidia menu and I could run flash videos fullscreen with HW acceleration on. Don't know if it is any better, I didn't notice any difference between HW acceleration on/off with the intel graphics card.

I noticed that 720p/1080p videos looked croppy after disabling HW acceleration. Found out that you can re-enable it after setting the video to fullscreen without getting a black screen again.
Then re-apply the desired resolution and the video + youtube interface will look better. -
Same issue here.. noticed it right after the last adobe update
-
thanks, brag - solved my problem - repped!

I have the same problem and I just registered to this forum to see what's the cause of it. So far disabling hardware acceleration does fix the problem. However, before doing it so, I was confused since I was not able to watch youtube videos in the website itself, but if I went to, say here and click on the "Watch video" link, I was able to watch it normally. It's interesting since the video is linked directly from youtube. Maybe the website has something to do with it?? I don't know. But this issue is very annoying.
PS: The "youtube black screen" issue seems to affect Chrome browser only. Firefox and IE worked just fine. -
If you are using Chrome the hardware acceleration is fixed with the latest beta release.
