Anyone have any tips on applying compressed air to clear out dust? Any certain spots to hit? Any need to take computer apart?

If you are going to use compressed air, take the bottom panel off of the laptop first. Aim the compressed air blast to blow dust OUT of the system.

If you leave the bottom panel on, then all you're doing is blowing dust deeper into the laptop chassis.

use a cocktail stick through the grill to stop your fan from spinning, if it gets too fast due to the air you may damage the bearings

You know, I usually use compressed air to spray not only the computer, but also the area around and under my m11x in hopes of keeping dust from getting in it in the first place.
