    Hey folks,

Last night I was running a little experiment with my R1 and hooking into external displays. using a VGA cable and HDMI capable I hooked both my Samsung 22" LCD TV (VGA @ 1680x1050) and Alienware Optx 23" (HDMI @ 1920x1080) into the little machine. Discovered that you can only have two displays running at any given time off the discrete gpu, which isn't really an issue.

The issue I had was that the picture seemed to be rather dull and not as clear as when I have both screens hooked into my PC's HD 5770. I checked to see if the refresh rates were the same, and whether or not they were running correct resolutions in addition to seeing if I'd changed some presets on the screens, but nothing came up. Did a direct comparison with the image quality of my PC and there is a pretty sizeable difference. When hooked into the R1 the image on the OptX makes me strain after a few minutes while the image on the Samsung is downright fuzzy!

Anybody have any idea why this may be the case?

probably the colour depth is lower for the external to compensate for the 335m's ability to process 2 screens.
