Everytime I launch the game I get the error:"Your graphics hardware must support at least shader model 3.0 to run this game"
Now I'm pretty sure that the gt335m supports up to 4.1. I have the m11xr2.
Wondering if anyone was able to run this game without this error.

I've seen this message with a different modern NVidia mobile GPU and also with the Intel Sandybridge onboard GPU. I have a Radeon HD 6850 that runs everything fine... but if that didn't, very few things would.
Note that the Sandybridge should be fine, as in the documentation it states:
"Intel® Processor Graphics includes support for Microsoft DirectX* Shader Model 4.1 for 10.1 devices and Shader Model 3.0 for DirectX* 9 devices. Intel® microarchitecture codename Sandy Bridge provides significantly improved computational capability and better handling of large and complicated shaders over
prior architectures."
I haven't had the time to troubleshoot this yet, but you are not alone to say the least. -
i don't think they gave me BETA ;/ i filled the questionaire thing even, love my CSS
Does multi platform play mean i will finally get to prove that MOUSE is far superior over the stupid console controllers in FPS, or will it just be steam overlay in PS3 and XBOX games with chat and what not? -
Cross platform play isn't supported anymore, they removed it from the game, so no you will not be able to finally prove it. Sorry. Despite how much we want it to happen it never will.

Would make online play way more fun though... event hough console owners would get owned
How does GO run on m11x anyways? i get like 40-150FPS in css depending on how many people playing. (40 in 64player MP) how much more demanding will CS GO be?

^No doubt that consoles are the granddaddy of HOME gaming. Like the Odyssey. You people need to do your homework
Anyway, the game's engine barely looks updated, the game should run well.
And they gave you a Beta. Welcome to Video Games. I suggest you should post it on the Steam forums or report it to Valve.
